I had the great idea of taking a family picture outside shortly after the first snowfall here in Edmonton (still October).

It took a while to get everybody to stop complaining about the cold or sister's shoes kicking him in the face and smile. In fact I gave up on the ravine and it wasn't until we got back home to our church/apartment that I decided we should have one last go at it in the church parking lot, our backyard at the moment.
