Today we went to the Devonian Gardens just outside Edmonton. The very most interesting exhibit was the butterfly house with glass cases full of chrysallises and butterflies of all sizes and colors flitting around in the greenhouse among all the trees and flowers.

The kids found it fascinating to watch one fight its way free of a cocoon.
